Contentlinq, Inc., a Delaware Corporation (“We” or “Us”), the owner of the Contentlinq subscription-based software service (the “Service”), respects the privacy of everyone who uses the Service (“You” or “User”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and store a User’s personal information.

Introduction

The Service is designed to provide the ability for vendors, retailers and service providers to manage and transmit digital images, videos and documents, using a cloud-based server and a local media player. A User employed by or contracted to do work for a vendor, retailer or service provider uploads digital images, videos or documents into the Service, is able to organize that information and then transmit it to digital displays at a retail location.

By using or otherwise accessing the Service, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service, and any dispute over privacy, is subject to this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement. The User Agreement is incorporated by reference into this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy or the User Agreement, please do not use the Service.

1. What Information We Collect About You

The information we may collect is described in this Section, and includes data related to account setup and security, such as the account number assigned by a vendor to a retailer, as well as your employer, first name, last name, email address, and the name and address of the Organization (collectively, the “Personal Information”).

We may collect Personal Information directly from you, from third parties, or automatically through your use of the Service. The manner in which we collect your Personal Information is more fully discussed, below.

Information We Collect Directly.

If you wish to use the Service, you must provide your first name, last name, email address, and the name and address of the Organization.

Information We Collect Automatically.

We may automatically collect analytic information related to how users use the Service on an aggregate and anonymous basis.

Information We Collect Passively.

We use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to do such things as track information about your use of the Service on an aggregate and anonymous basis so that we may recognize you and your device, improve the Service, and customize the Service to your preference.

Cookies in General.

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, which is sent to your computer or mobile device from the Service, and is stored in your computer or mobile device. The Service requires the use of cookies.

We reserve the right to disclose Personal Information gathered from you if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of the User Agreement or this Privacy Policy, or in the course of litigation which we are a party.

Aggregate and De-Identified Information. We reserve the right to share aggregate or de-identified information about our users with third parties for marketing, advertising, research, or similar purposes.

4. Third-Parties

We may use several third-party services and applications to help run the Service, evaluate usage of the Service, improve the Service, customize user experiences, and for advertising purposes. These entities may use cookies and Personal Information shared in the manner described in this Privacy Policy to perform their services. These third parties include account analytics, and storage and security companies.

5. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. Any access to and use of such linked websites is not governed by this Privacy Policy, but instead is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party websites. We are not responsible for the information practices of such third-party websites.

6. User Content

Content you enter using the Service, including Personal Information, can be viewed by your Supervisors. We cannot prevent such information from being used in a manner that may violate this Privacy Policy, the law, or your personal privacy. We are not liable to you or any other person for any content or information you post using the Service, or the use or disclosure of such content or information by other users or third parties.

7. Security of Your Personal Information

We have implemented a variety of security measures to protect the Personal Information that we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, keeping your log-in and password private. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.

8. Access to Your Personal Information

You may modify the Personal Information that you have submitted by logging into your account and updating your profile information.

You may also view and delete your account for the Service, which includes the history and analytics data we have collected about you. Please note that copies of information that you have updated, modified, or deleted may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of our systems for a period of time.

Do Not Track Signals and Minors

We do not respond to Do Not Track Signals.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13. The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.
